The key elements of our advocacy strategy are:
  • To develop new, simple and exciting advocacy products based on extensive research. This includes radio features, policy briefs, interactive media products and presentations.
  • To strategically use these products to influence key policy making events regarding Afghanistan.
  • To position Consortium members to respond effectively and speedily to advocacy opportunities as they arise.
Our advocacy is designed around key events such as donor meetings, Loya Jirgas, the elections and other events throughout the year. We also ensure flexibility in our approach to respond to an often rapidly changing policy environment.
